/...All the love that history knows / Taking another drag of the newly lit cigarette as acidic eyes gazed up at the clear blue sky. Despite being as cold as it was the day seemed perfect, a little too perfect. It was something he wasn’t accustomed to, and frankly he didn’t like it. How could a day like this exist in a tainted world? Whatever the reasoning behind it, Ichiro didn’t mind having a short time to relax. In the mist of deep thought he exhaled the smoke through his nose before glancing towards the many people that walked the streets of his home, Iwagakure.
/ …is said to be in every rose. / The Jounin was originally meant to be out in town because of a few errands his mother asked him to do. Regardless of his mother’s need for supplies, he stood in the shopping district smoking his f*g, and thinking up another poem that he would later write down. At the rate that these new lines for the poem where coming to him, it would most likely show the reader that it was directly to the point. Ichiro had a gift; he was a poet. He saw the world for what it truly was and put it into a stanza of meaningful words.
/ ...yet all that could be found in two, / Quietly as he watched the families buy their groceries and goods, he took another drag, this time he allowed it to exhale from the slight slit in his lips. Ichiro’s amusement in the people’s meaningless effort to get things that were required to survive died quickly as he thought of the last line for his one stanza, four lined poem.
/ is less than what I feel for you…/

Miaka walked to the shops. She had Ryu's necklace around her neck, but like every other boy, he had left her waiting and just hoping he would come back. A small sigh escaped her lips as she felt like throwing the necklace and the headband she had on her away. "And he said he wouldn't be like that..." She said quietly, closing her eyes and thinking for a moment.
When opening them again, she reached down and straightened her skirt. In her usual way of walking; shoulders back, up right, head held high, slightly swing to her hips and chest out, she walked through the shops, thinking what she needed to buy. There was no way she was going to let another male get to her like this, she just couldn't.
Looking around, one hand rested on his necklace, while the other swung down by her side. She even tried whispering to herself comforting words to make it feel better, but so far there was nothing. Her hair moved evenly with each gust of wind. Lost in her own thought, she hadn't noticed the male nearby that seemed to be quite obviously not part of the crowd.

Pulling himself further from his deep thought, Ichiro soon noticed a woman who apeared to be no older than he was, wandering about. He studied her carefully, but not in a way that may get him slapped or beat up by a boyfriend. Soon the studying came across the necklace that the woman held tightly in her hand and Ichiro shook his head slightly. Obviously, there was a boyfriend, but from the disappointed expression across her face the boyfriend had done something wrong. This was a perfect example of why love didn't exist, and how it could never survive in this sort of environment.
Perhaps, the poet was wrong. Ichiro had been wrong on several occasions, but he was right in a few aspects of it. A woman as beautiful as this with the disappointed expression wouldn’t possibly be having boyfriend troubles if the world was a perfect place. Oh, no. She would most definitely find the most loving man there was out there and would be happy for the rest of her days. Slowly Ichiro’s thoughts began to wonder why he became so infatuated with the fact this woman seemed lonely. Maybe, perhaps that it would be because that he was somewhat lonely too.
With another exhale of the smoke Ichiro simply dropped his cigarette on the ground before running the bottom of his sandal to cool down the hot ash. Slipping his hands into his pockets he slowly wandered up to the woman, and walked alongside her for a moment. “Hello there.” Ichiro said confidently as he looked towards the girl. “Why the long face?”

Still not noticing the man, she moved round the people in her way, looking along the shops. She had forgotten her shopping list, or more like it was she hadn't had a chance to go home since she got back. Her eyes closed, thinking this was the second time he had pushed her off, both with the trick of using his necklace. Did he want her out the way so he could have some other woman? Was he lying all the time she had been with him. He didn't want her truly. Her hands turned into fists as she nearly bumped into someone. She apologized and quickly moved on.
As soon as the man came next to her, she almost jumped out of her skin from being lost in thought. Why had he suddenly come beside her out of all the people on the streets. Surely there were others with long faces. Her hand came to her face at the thought of one of those. Her face had to be perfect, not long or short, or fat or skinny, just perfect. Blinking, she brought the hand down from her face and from the necklace.
After a moment, she decided to speak. "Umm...men.... they are always leaving me, or keeping me hanging and hoping for their return" She looked away, trying not to offend him in anyway. She swung her arms gently by her side as she continued to walk, "It just makes me think if there is actually one good man out there" She looked to him, "I don't mean to offend you or anything" She said quietly.

Ichiro nodded slightly, he had been right in one way. "I see...And don't worry, you haven't offended me in anyway." He said as he continued to watch her. "And I should be apologizing for scaring you like that." He plastered a friendly smile across his face as he watched her touch her face in curiousity then let her hand dangle to one side. It was only an expression, he hadn't meant it literally.
He merely shrugged after awhile, as he looked out ahead of them. "Well, maybe you shouldn't be one to trust so quickly..." He said so soft it almost seemed like a whisper. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you must of trusted them so quick that you didn't really know what you were getting into.." Now it was his turn to hope that she didn't get offended. Ichiro didn't want to regret anything he had said but he felt that she might need to hear the truth.
"Men are like monkeys in many ways...They think about flinging their poo, how many mates they can get with, and whos confidence they can destroy." Ichiro added as he looked back to her. "And whos not to say that you won't find a monkey that is sweet, doesn't think about flinging his poo, and stays with only one mate." Ichiro sort of laughed at his comparison. He had described so many men in those two sentences. Of coarse he didn't think he was like that though, not in the least bit, but he had never had anothers opinion about him. Frankly, Ichiro didn't care what others thought because those who have judged him, haven't taken the time to really get to know him.

Miaka listened, "Yeah, it doesn't matter" She shrugged, "It was nice someone noticed me, often he wouldn't even notice my actions towards him" She shook her head, "Wonderful men, aren't they? Just pure brilliance" She said sarcastically, folding her arms and started to quicken her pace through the shops, heading to a quieter part of the village.
The expression on her face instantly changed, "Are you judging me before you even get to know me?" She paused, "You don't even know me yet your assuming things about, and so what if what you're saying is true. Why are you even here? Why are you even following me and talking to me?" She looked up at him, feeling quite fragile at the moment. "What are you doing here?" She said, quickly looking away.
Talking about monkeys and their poo made her expression change yet again, as though this man had some serious problems and needed to get them seen to, "Honestly, I don't think he should be compared to a monkey and it's poo. It's really not a very nice thing" She said, standing herself back up straight and continuing at a fast pace.

As Miaka quickened her pace, Ichiro did as well. Soon he saw a complete turn around of her emotions. "No, no...I was only..." He paused because she had started up again. She did have some good points and soon the question why was he following and talking to her? That was a good question, he himself didn't even know. "I'm not exactly following you...And I'm trying to converse with you because you seemed upset. There wasn't meant to be anything offensive, and I did say correct me if I'm wrong." Ichiro's pace slowed even more as she quickened.
" And any man that would hurt someone as beautiful you deserves to be called a monkey." Ichiro said shrugging slightly. "No, they deserve to be called a bastard." Soon Ichiro stopped as he noticed her speeding up even more. He shook his head, it was obvious she didn't want his company, even when he had only been trying to help her. He stood there quietly watching her walk away from him. "It was nice to meet you too." He called after her and he kicked away a stone that lay on the ground.
"Knowing things deep inside, the feelings we try to hide. We go on with life every day wishing sometimes we could cry. Openly say what we feel, honestly expressing our thoughts And yet then we deal with peoples unkind scoffs..." Ichiro said aloud to himself as he looked back up at her.

Miaka stopped and hung her head. She had no one else to be around at the moment, nothing else to do except from sit and sulk. One hand dropped down to her side and the other went to Ryu's necklace. Her hair blew evenly with the wind. Opening her eyes, she looked back round to see that he was still there.
When he called her beautiful a slight smile came to her face and then what he said about her man. Slowly she walked back to him, her head hung, "I'm sorry...I'm just upset, and I don't usually talk to people until they show me respect" She said quietly, her eyes closing for a moment. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to talk to you like that"
Standing there for a few minutes she looked around, wondering what the chance were of Ryu returning. Deep down she really hoped he would, but on the outside, she really could do with comforting from anybody right now.

Ichiro smiled softly at her as she came back over to him. "Theres no need to apologize..." He said to her in a comforting tone. "...We withdraw into our own shell trying to protect our heart. Even though its so important to tell and not to have up a guard. So if you feel you need to talk about something that you feel. Come and we will take a walk and my lips I will seal." He nodded slightly as he finished the poem he had started.
"You just deserve better." He said softly before something hit him. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. My name is Shizuki Ichiro...And what would your name be?" Ichiro still smiled softly to her, he wanted to make her feel better and perhaps he could do that better if he told her his name and even asked for hers.
Now, he continued to watch her as she looked around. He wouldn't ask why she was looking around but knew it had to deal with him or the boyfriend. Ichiro wouldn't try anything on her, not if she still had feels still for the bastard, which appeared to be a major influence on how she was feeling right now.

Miaka nodded, "There is, you were only trying to help..." She said quietly, a small smile came to her as she listened to his poem, "That's beautiful" She said quietly, "You make it sound with meaning as well..." She said quietly, looking to the ground again. For a moment, she seemed to have lost confidence in herself, since she wasn't standing in her usual way.
"I deserve better? Are you sure? It seems I go through men just to find the right one" She shook her head. Slowly her eyes came up with her head to look into his, "That's a nice name...and my name's Suzuki Miaka" She said quietly, staring into his eyes, almost lost in thought. He seemed nice, not like what Ryu was when she first met him. A perv who just wanted to get his fun with a girl. Maybe that was why she so easily went to him, he welcomed her a bit too easily. Blinking, she looked away, she only wanted someone to care for her, yet she seemed to fall into the wrong hands.
"Would you stay with me for a bit?" She asked, "Come to the park with me...please? I want to go somewhere quiet...with at least a friend" She looked away. Her eyes seemed to glaze over with tears as she slowly started to walk. Using the palm of her hands she tried to clear her tears away from her eyes.

Ichiro continued to smile softly as he watched her. “Suzuki Miaka…A beautiful name, for a beautiful woman.” He said to her kindly. “And I’m sure you’ll find someone that is right for you.” How could she not? She was gorgeous, any man would be lucky to have her as their woman. Ichiro continued to watch her frowning slightly as her eyes started to well up with tears.
“Yeah, of coarse I’ll come along.” He said to her softly as he started off after her. “Miaka...” Suddenly he stopped her, and placed a gentle hand to her cheek. “Please don’t cry. It’ll be alright, I promise you.” Ichiro gave her another soft smile before he let his hand run from her cheek to her arm and into her hand. “Everything will be fine, you’ll see.” Ichiro gave her hand a slight reassuring squeeze before letting go.
Sliding his hands back into his pockets he looked in the general direction of the village park. It had been awhile since he been there. He hadn’t been there since Kato passed away and going there with someone of interest should be amazing. “Shall we?” He asked bending his arm slightly for her to take.

Miaka smiled slightly, "It's not all that beautiful" She said quietly. She wasn't one to usually put herself down, but just lately, she had felt unwanted, used and pushed away, "It would be nice to find someone, but I doubt it somehow..." She said quietly, her head still hung with her eyes fixed to the ground.
Nodding a thank you, she was a bit surprised that he stopped her, but soon another smile spread across her face as she watched his hand. It was so gentle against her skin and welcoming she wouldn't have minded him to do it again. She watched his hand go down to hers, and she turned hers so he could give it the reassuring squeeze. "I hope you're one that I can believe and trust your words" She said quietly, blinking the tears away.
A small laugh came from her as she saw his arm. Taking it, she smiled, "Of course" She said, standing herself up straight, slowly starting to walk with him. "Thank you" She said, somewhat happier. She rarely made friends, but the ones she did make tended to be good ones, and Ichiro would certainly make her a good friend, even if she had only just met him.

The Jounin nodded slightly as he watched her from the corner of his eye. His mind began to drift off on a topic for another poem he could later write onto a piece of paper. Words slowly began to jumble up and were sorted among thousands of others. There had to be assonance, and a perfect rhyme scheme. Yet, he still hadn’t come up with a topic. Ichiro’s eyes wandered back to Miaka after awhile and he smiled softly as he watched her walk. It was almost as if all the wind blew and all the angels were singing. Ichiro’s smile grew a bit larger as he now knew of his poem’s topic.
Miaka…she was the perfect topic for his next poem. “Miaka…I promise you, you can trust me.” He said softly as he continued to look out ahead of them. “…with anything.” Ichiro continued to lead her towards the park. /What makes stars romantic? Is it the beauty…/
“Miaka, tell me a bit about yourself.” Ichiro finally spoke up again. “I’m practically dying to know more about you.” It was true, he wanted to know more and more about the woman he was accompanying to the park on this slightly chilly day. He looked back at her, still smiling pleasantly, waiting for her answer. It would be nice to know what his new friend was like in detail. /Of a night sky dark lit with diamonds?/

Miaka followed silently, her eyes flowing along the ground, watching what was going. The small insects crawling out of the cracks grabbed her attention. With nothing else to do apart from follow, her mind was wandering, trying to get away from the horrible thoughts that lingered in her. Ants, however, didn't seem to be enought to take her attention elsewhere.
She looked slowly up to him as he spoke, "It would be nice to be able to trust you...with anything...but what if you're a monkey too?" She asked, closing her eyes and staying quiet. She moved closer behind him, her eyes fixed back to the ground again until he would speak to her.
"About me? Well there's not really much to know. I have a normal family, I'm a medical ninja, I'm usually a workaholic and you will rarely see me away from the hospital. I'm normally strict until someone shows respect and I consider them a friend" She said quietly, her eyes back to the ground.
She decided to go on, knowing she wouldn't lose anything by telling him about herself, "From a young age, I was always around the hospital, trying to pick up hints and tricks about what they do there" She shrugged, "I isolated myself away from the rest of my team for constant studying." She said softly and then looked up to him. "In my spare time, which I don't have much of, I work to keep myself looking beautiful" She smiled slightly as she said this.

"I gotta make it to the hospital and see if Miaka is alright, I hope she isnt still on that crazy mission with that kid" Ryu said to himself as bolted through the gates, Not noticing Miaka at the park with Ichiro he was so intent on going to the hospital than looking around and searching for her. He had a good feeling that she'd be at the hospital or her house. He bumped into people, pushed a few out of the way "Sorry, Sorry, Sorry" He say continously as he knocked a few people over. He looked like an insane person running through a crowd of people, Thats what some people thought, Seeing how he had no shirt on.
